English country kitchen design: The English country kitchen design has less complexities and far lesser fuss as compared to its French counterparts. The designs are simple, clean and are characterized by dentil molding along with crown molding, pilasters with simple turns, bracket legs with heavy details and occasionally, with a bun foot. The finishing is washed, giving the floor an aged look. At times, a scrubbed finish is given to the floor by scrubbing the wood with a wire brush. This also makes the hardwood floor look aged.
