Modern Kitchen Design: Beauty And Functionality In Your Kitchen!!
Before designing kitchen people always consider some points and then design their kitchen like: * How important is cooking for you? * Do you have a small or large family? * Most important do you want to eat in your kitchen? * How much storage is required? * What design will be beneficial for your family? * Is maintenance a high priority and will it be easy? * How should the kitchen relate functionally to the other rooms and should kitchen be the center room? How does the modern kitchen design look like? Depending on the size of the kitchen and the number of members in the family, the modern kitchen is designed. Some of them prefer island design or Italian design while some of them design their kitchen according to Feng Shui where the kitchen represents nourishment and prosperity. And the believers in Feng Shui say that how you design and decorate the kitchen can influence your prosperity and health. But now-a-day's mostly island design is preferred. Hence the modern kitchen looks like: * The modern-looking kitchen has wood floors, light wood cabinetry with Plexiglas and stainless steel inset panels, polished granite counters, stainless appliances and sink, and a white tile backsplash punctuated with pieces of broken granite that matches the counter which looks simple and luxurious. * The large island is the room's focal point and it houses the smooth-top range with telescopic ventilation and a prep sink. This island also provides seating for four. * Most important is that the microwave is hidden behind a retractable door, as is the TV in the office area. * An enviably large chef's pantry has multiple shelves on the doors where you can keep cook books and it also features swing-out shelves in the middle. * A touch rail on the underside of the upper cabinets controls the under cabinet lights which is a plus point in the modern kitchen design. * Wide, deep drawers on gliders were used for storage of pots and pans and more space is available and at last a whimsical wine quote stenciled on the soffit adds a light touch.
